REGISTRATION CLOSED: Telemetry Workshop with Marshall Radio Telemetry

What to expect: We only pull out our telemetry when the worst things happen, our birds have taken off for some reason. Yet this is a skill that we should practice to prepare for those bad days. Marshall is going to put on a fox hunt (Transmitter hunt) where they will place transmitters outside to help us learn to better track and understand how the transmitters work in different situations. Each team will also have a GPS so that they can track each team and then we can come back and learn from each group. This will be a race and the winning team will win a $200 dollar certificate to Marshall. They will provide food for those that come. We will have the opportunity to tour one of the premiere falconry telemetry companies in the world. Marshall pioneered the GPS technology now used by both educators and falconers around the world.
